Partners
and Funding
The
Great Lakes GIS is being developed at the Institute for Fisheries
Research, a cooperative institution with the Michigan Department
of Natural Resources, Fisheries Division, and the University
of Michigan School of Natural Resources and Environment. The
GLGIS Steering Committee includes participants from various
agencies in the Great Lakes Region.
Funding
for the Great Lakes GIS Project has been generously provided
by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service through the Great Lakes
Fish and Wildlife Restoration Act, the U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources,
and the Great Lakes Fishery Commission.
